Sorry if this is a stupid question but what is the purpose of the speaker outputs on the Stax Adapters? Are they specifically intended to be used for electrostatic speakers?
I've got a SRD-4 here with no manual and was just curious.
Thanks.

The Stax adapters are hooked up to a speaker amp, thus taking up those outputs. The speaker outputs on the adapter are a straight pass-through from the speaker amp to the speakers when the adapter is switched in the loudspeaker position.

No, it's so you can still use your loudspeakers if you connect your transformer box to your amp.
