Haven't posted here in many years. Cured upgraditis and don't like the new website =[
 
I'm after some purple (preferably brightish purple) on-ear portably type headphones for a birthday present. Yes they must be purple.
 
I only know of Skullcandy and various other consumer-fi brands that do different colors, I'm after something that has pretty decent sound.
 
Yes I'm aware of the search function, but not much is coming up for who makes purple portable headphones.
 
Budget max of like $200 USD probably, but less is preferable. Sound doesn't have to be audiophile, just something that sounds good and will run from an mp3 player.

edit: oh yeah, I forgot: No specific sound type, just not a no-mids bass monster like the HD212 Pros etc.
the persons music choice is generally fairly laid back stuff like Placebo, Nine Inch Nails, Radiohead etc

philips citiscape downtown... goes for $100, i really confuse myself with lady colours (thankfully) but i think its purple or violet...

Not quite purple but can highly recommend a pair of Sennheiser HD 25-1 ii with purple velour pads.

Philips Downtown come in purple...  They actually look decent in that color too
