I love my Shure 840's for rock, but for hip hop/rap they seem to be missing the punchy bass of many of the songs. I've heard the M50's have good bass, but are there other cans for around $150 that give a really punchy pronounced bass?

Thanks,
Mike

Try HFi580, better than M50 imo.

FA-011 have ALOT of impact, but.... They are open and leak sound and do require amplification.

Plenty of impact, slam, punch and rumble.
