Depends on how much the item costs and what mood im in. Sometimes it can be totally instant, other times it can be months.

When I built a new computer back in August, I spent an entire month putting everything together. Took me about three days to finalize everything and make sure I got it all right.
Because of this, my computer booted perfectly the first time I started it up. Had Windows installed and running within the hour.
As for audio, if it's a good deal from a reputable site and I've already been eying that product.....Maybe a few seconds.

If I already know what I want, I click the buttons as fast as they appear on the screen. Research is over, I'm either gonna try it or not.
