I'm looking for a car charger for my M3, which needs a 5V adapter. I've noticed that PSP car chargers are everywhere, and I'm not 100% sure, but I thought that the PSP was a 5V compatable device. Can somebody who has a PSP check that for me? And if the PSP is a 5V device, would that mean that the PSP car adapters would be 100% compatable with the M3?

PSP power adapter says:

5 Volts 2 Amps. Connector is centre positive - yellow tip.

Good Luck

Yeah the M3 is supposedly 5V 1~3 Amps. The only problem is that the M3's connector is one of those super tiny long and silver ones as opposed to the yellow PSP plug. Does anybody know if I could buy some sort of adapter or splice (correct term?) the correct connector size on top of the PSP car charger?

It can charge from USB so perhaps you can find a suitable usb charger lead for the car and use the connector on your M3.
