Hello
I'm currently using my ps3 as a movie/video, music and gaming system. I have my Audioengine 2.0 stereo speakers hooked up to it and everything sounds great to me.
I play ps3 games and watch blu-rays right from the disc. Then i also watch HD tv-series and listen to mp3 320kbps from an external HDD. Now i'm really glad with the sound the speakers are giving me but i need to plug my in my Audio Technica ATH-M50s into my ps3 somehow. I've had em for a few months now used with my Xonar STX soundcard on my computer, and i love em to death.
Now i want to be able to use them directly into my ps3 and get a really good sound using a amp/dac.
I've heard good stuff about the Astro Mixamp, but i'm curious if it would not only be good for gaming but also for listening to music, watching films and so on.
I'm glad for all the tips and thoughts i can get
