This has probably been discussed elsewhere but any help would be much apprecited.

Bought the HD5 today and so far very pleased with this fine player.

What i want to know is wether it is possible to transfer WMA protected files that have been purchased from napster?

I never got some that I got from MTV to work, I dunno if SonicStage even plays WMAs lol. Umm, if you really want to transfer, burn a cd and rip it with Sonicstage. As for WMAs, HD5 doesn't play 'em.

I know the hd5 doesnt play them directly and that sonicstage can convert unprotected wma's to atrac(i think) just wondered if there is a way to convert protected wma's. Cant burn them to cd either.
