Dear Head-Fi,
Hello again. I recently purchased a set of promedia 5.1 speakers only to have realized that the only way to get 5.1 would be to have a receiver/sound card with 3 separate outputs (for the 3 audio cables). But I really wanted to use the speakers with my ps3 (for that total immersion of hearing footsteps behind me yaknow ) but obviously the ps3 only outputs in component or hdmi (maybe optical for audio?). What would be the cheapest/best way to get audio running from my ps3 to the speakers while preserving 5.1 (I have promedia 2.1's currently hooked up by a 3.5mm to tv which is taking in audio from the hdmi of ps3).
Thanks again for your time!
Sincerely,
Dom
