[Duff-Guy]

I'm pretty sure this problem is the fault of the SD Card and not the Clip but I'm not sure. The problem is songs will randomly skip to the next. They skip erratically and will sometimes skip 30 seconds in, then 3 minutes in etc to the next song. So a 4 minute song may skip to the next song after only playing 3 minutes of the song.
 
 
Any ideas of how to fix this? I have l already formatted the SD card, but to no avail.

Try using a different uSD to see if it's the card.  If it still happens, could be the Sansa.  They're pretty tough players but after a year or so (of heavy use, etc), they can be prone to a little "mechanical weirdness/quirks".
