I keep getting this error no matter what music file im playing:

ERROR (foo_output_std) : A device ID has been used that is out of range for your system.

I tried restarting my computer and it still gave the same problem

Look in the options, under playback | output. Change it to wave out, or something different to what's currently selected.

Can't really think of anything else. Does winamp work? Does windows sounds work? Perhaps get rid of all the filters, and make sure you're not resampling...

mmmm sounds like a problem with your drivers maybe, try reinstalling the drivers.
