Hey guys,

Just received my Udac-2 from debitsohn (thanks again man!) and have hooked it up to my laptop and when trying to use it with Asio4all in Foobar2000 I'm not getting any sound output. I uninstalled and reinstalled the plugin and software and I followed the instructions in the explanation thread and the software appears to recognize the udac2 as a generic usb audio device. However, when I hit play, no sound comes out.

Additionally, I tried installing the plugin for kernel streaming and got nothing but staticky distorted sound so I quickly got rid of it.

Anyone know what might be causing the problem here? Is Asio4all necessary with this dac? Any help would be appreciated, thanks so much.

Oh and on a side note, the windows volume control now says SPDIF interface and it seems that I control the volume on the amp with both knob and the windows volume control. With my E7, this was bypassed completely and I only controlled volume using the device itself. Is this normal?
