I need your thoughts on the below.

I bought a brand new AP80 Pro-X recently. I love the design, the small form factor, and the tone are to my liking. Great. Thank you for the rec @pbui44 .

However, after playing with the AP80 Pro-X for a couple of days I uncovered a problem. When playing DSD files, 3 times out of 5 I get this weird and loud hissing noise (very similar to the noise you get when trying to tune an old longwave radio). I swapped different IEMs, tried headphones and established that:

1. It looks like the problem is with the 3.5mm output. (I haven't tried the 2.5mm balanced one, so I don't know if there is a problem with it.)
2. I plug my IEM - it may play the DSD file fine. I unplug the IEM and plug it back again - noise. I do this 5 times and get at least 3 fails.
3. This issue appears only when I play DSD files. Any other hi-res and 16-bit files are fine.

I contacted Hidizs support. They advised updating to the latest firmware. No joy - same problem replicated even with the latest firmware 1.5.

Has anyone else had this issue with their AP80 Pro-X or AP80 Pro?

Thanks
