I own a pair of Audioengine A5, and the two speakers doesn't sound the same. When i listen to the left one (with the amp) there are plenty of highs, whereas the left one sounds muffled...did you experienced the same?

You have crossed the speakers right, to eliminate anything upline?
Aka hooking the left speaker to the right speaker cable, and the other way around.

If the left one still sound muffled, then take them back to the shop for a fix...

Thanks for the reply but the A5 uses one speaker cable from the left speaker (with amp) to the right one without amp. I listened closely and i'm afraid my right tweeter doesn't work well...
