I'm building some amplifiers as gifts for friends but ran into a problem.  The cases I bought have aluminum front and rear panels and I was planning on having both the 3.5mm input jack and the DC jack on one end.  The DC jacks I bought are all metal which, due to my lack of foresight, ties the negative lead to the rest of the aluminum panel.  Since the 3.5mm jack connects the panel to ground, this causes DC to flow through the signal pathway.

Does anyone have any solutions to this problem?
I know I may have to buy a different jack, and I'm open to suggestions on which ones would isolate the DC from the case.  The power adapters I'm using are 2.1x5.5mm barrel types.

You could use fiber shoulder washers to isolate the jack.

Here's an example ------>

A new jack is prolly a better solution though.

Fiber washer, nylon washer, card stock treated with resin, or a custom 3d printed washer.

Or buy another, if you don't mind paying shipping again... Which personally I hate.
