I've narrowed it down between these two now...650 is $140, 750 is around $200.  From what I"m reading, the 650's warmer presentation might be better for me at this time, but I"m wondering two things.
 
First, can one get the velour pads of the 750 and use them for the 650? 
 
Also, does anyone know where to find the screw-in cable for the phone that has a 1/8th on the other end...would rather use that then the adaptor when I'm not at home..

Yep you can get the Pro 750 pads to fit the Pro 650s. However, the pads are pretty expensive. 
 
Ultrasone offers a short cable for them as a portable option. You have to contact the distributor for pricing. (The earpads are on the same link).

thank you!  dang, those are expensive!!  that may push the 750's, but then again, I could save almost $100 on the 650's and use that toward a portable amp and pick up the earpads later...

The 750's are being offered by a forum member...I really wish I could hear these two or find more between them...such a tough decision
