Well i have started to make speaker cables and sell them commercially. However i would like to add the extra 'bling' factor and instead of having heatshrink where the cable splits to positive and negative, use something like a wooden or brass barrell to put over the join. Anyone know where i could source anything like this? The only other concern is that i would need it to have a decent hole diameter to fit the cable through say 8-12mm.

Cheers

I've seen decorative wooden beads at craft stores (Like Michaels)

You could buy a few that suit the look you'd like, then split them up the middle with a Dremel.

then route out the center hole to a Y in one side.

Lay the cable Y in one half, then glue the other half over it.

Stain, lacquer, and you're done.

I just want to revive this and have people help me find some wood barrel beads. I went to Michaels and another craft store yesterday and could not find any. I also checked cherry tree toys to no avail. I know I've seen them before too... but now that I want some I can't find any
