I just ordered one from Musician's Friend for $300. They threw in some Sony headphones to boot.

I need it for the A/D and mic preamp, but I will certainly try out the D/A side and headphone amp.

I just picked one of these up to for some mobile recording/listening stuff.

The beauty of this box is that its powered over firewire so you can eliminate the power issue.

I have been listening to it going into a X-Can V3 and my HF-1's ...pretty nice ...at least as nice as my Motu 828MKII for listening. (have not comparred otherwise)
