As some of you know, I have been enjoying a PCS and an SA8001 for a couple of weeks. I hooked up the SA8001 through analog and digital (Toslink) on the PCS and did some A/B to see how the two DAC's sound. I think I like the SA8001 better. If anything the PCS adds some db and clips all the time. The CD is Mindi Abair (redbook of course) and what you hear is out of Alesis M1 Active monitors + Polk 10" sub. Of course you can't hear accurate sound as it has been recorded through my camera, then compressed and compressed again for the web. But you get an idea.
