As these are all interchangeable tips, I'd like to know which one you headfiers prefer for comfort (without regard to sound quality):

Shure Yellow Foam Sleeves

Shure Clear Flex Sleeves

Shure Ultra Soft Flex Sleeves

Etymotic Triple or Bi-Flange (ha! just kidding!

)

Etymotic er-6i 'Comply' Foam Tips (the tapered kind)

Etymotic er-4 or er-6 Foamies (grey or yellow)

I prefer the Ety Tri flanges on my ER-4's. Easy in... easy out. I don't have to wait for the foam to expand plus they last longer. On my E2's I use the Ultra soft flex sleeve cause the normal flex sleeves are way too hard imho.

I actually ran a poll on this last month,

. Check that out too if you're looking for the info.... I'm a Shrue yellow universal foamie fan now, and I have Westone UM1's.

I'm using the shure foamies that came with my e2gs and loving them. Friend of mine picked up the UE super.fi 3 studios and was bitching about fit and a little about sound. Gave him some foamies (which apparently fit perfectly on the drivers).. he's got bliss now.

True....I forgot about Westone. I think they're pretty much identical to the er-6i Comply tips though.
