Hey.

So, I might be buying either [Grado RS1i or AKG K701] headphones in the near future. I listen to a lot of really heavy metal (mainly). What's a good amp for either of these headphones, and is there a line out adapter for the iPod touch suitable to convey the sound with minimal losses?

ALO docks are probably the best but they are darn expensive. See if you can get a diy'er around here to make one for you. As far as amps go there are lots that are great. RSA's are pretty highly regarded. Whats your price range?
