Not too sure they’ll get many sales at that price point but time will tell. I have an Oor/Hypsos and really wanted their DAC but it’s almost another grand more then I expected to pay, doesn’t use R2R, takes a $250 splitter, and unless I’m missing something - doesn’t offer more features then the competition at the price range... Guess I’ll sit this one out and see.

From the picture, I believe you can use their power splitter to connect both the DAC and amp to a single Hypsos.

Love my Oor+Hypsos, but for $2800 in 2023, it either has to be R2R or I'm not interested. Just too much incredible competition now.

based on the popularity and reputation of the ferrum stack, the wandla will sell well. the oor + hypsos is a great combo that drives pretty much any headphone, including the abyss and susvara. i could see many ferrum stack owners wanting to add this dac to their chain, especially since it could share the hypsos. i'm sure the wandla is an excellent dac and people like the symmetry of matching components. the various filters also look pretty interesting and is something that could add value over similarly priced units.

Analogue volume control is one of seemingly several features which seperates this from a $1000 ESS chip competitor.

LKS DA-005 is ESS chip and about the same price. No analogue volume control..
