Looking for opinions about whether I should install a Battery board in the

PPA amp I'm building. Also looking for opinions on Bass Boost circuit.

Have the Board done and it sounds really good, but not sure whether

the battery board is practical in the long run using AAA batteries as far

as run time, and any sound quality loss by reducing bias on output stage

to extend run time. Also how does the Bass circuit with 50K pot workout

in practice? Is the sound quality of the Bass Boost with the recommended

parts values good? Trying to make decision about what to include in the

amplifier and would like input from anybody that's been there. This is a great

sounding amp and I want to get the "details" right the first time.

I'm trying the AD744's right now both with and without the output stage
of the AD744's bypassed. I liked the sound more than the AD8610 at least
in the Pimeta I've tried them both in.

Do you use the Bass Boost much?

How long will the amp run on batteries in your amp, and what cells are
you using?

What opamps do you prefer?
