why nobody talks about this technology? its like FPGA dac + class D amp together if I understand it correctly

Maybe because it's really expensive....
 
Can "musicality" can be maintained using solid state technology? Non-linear mathematics may be the answer to the analogue without the IMD and THD noise that can be introduced by hybrid or poorly designed circuit paths. Who knows? Certainly not me....
 
I don't profess to understand any of this however I do know it is just one step towards the perfect audio system. Denon do produce class D amplifiers.

Actually if you read the website...
 
It claims the input is kept as digital up until the demodulation stage where it's converted into soundwaves before hitting your amplifier stage at the output. At least that is how I understand it.
