Building good AC/AC power supplies can't be that hard, right?

I need 9V AC for an ART DIO and 12V AC for my X-CAN v2.

I have found a good transformer:
Toroid 100 VA, 94x43 mm, weighs 1.3 kg.
2x9V and 2x12V versions are available.

A fast 4.0 A glass fuse 5x20 mm on the secondary side.

Do I need something else except cables and connectors?

What about some input mains filtration? Input IEC (Or country specific) socket with inbuilt filters are cheap (About 8 to 15 GBP) and beneficial or you can add a multi-stage chassis mount for greater filtration but at 60+ GBP...

Is the X-PSU nothing more that a four output 12 transformer (Torroidal?) with filtration? Anyone examined the internals?

Belling Lee manufacture a good range of inlet and chassis filters. http://www.belling-lee.com/fmproductsidx.htm

Easily available in the UK from http://rswww.com

I used the SF4220 in a shielded ABS box with shielded mains cables. Works really well.

The SF1010 gives reasonable antenuation at the cheapest cost though the SF5010 gives the best available performance of all the range but is not often stocked (Don't know of the price as RS don't stock it here).
