Power conditioner

Hirch, have you tried star-grounding your components? Maybe the noise is from component-to-component interference. When I star-grounded my gear, the noise floor dropped by a considerable margin. The easiest way to star-ground would be to buy a power strip that is wired in that configuration (ala PS Audio Juice Bar). Of course, it's also a lot more expensive then DIY :p

The Audio Magic conditioners are my favorites. If I had to use a conditioner, I can't think of a better choice. In my systems, Audio Power, Tice, Monster, and Chang all dulled the sound (especially single ended tube gear). My home lines are already very good and quiet, so whatever perceived noise reduction was minimal.
