Carian Knight Set. Probably the most beautifully decorated body armor. Looks like a soldier from an affluent army. To me, this is is how a mage knight would look.
Everything looks in place, including the Carian knight sword. Carian Knight sword is the finest straight sword in the game. It require INT stats. Most beautiful straight sword IMO.
It looks like, "don't mess with a knight mage. You will get hit no matter if you are close or far." lol
My Glintstone magic mage with Snow Witch set. This is a similar set that Ranni wears. I hold 2 staves for Rock-Sling buff from the meteorite staff. Lusat's staff for maximum damage with bosses, and the combination does maximum magic damage. I use Carian Regal staff for normal enemies.
In actuality, I wear combination of various pieces from different sets. Rennala's hat for INT buff, and the armor set for bosses that does physical damages. I can't wear anything heavier since I mainly pumped up INT, not much endurance for weight reduction.
And then Rennala's set. This works for when I need multiple staffs equipped for quick switching during level runs.
Trying out mage in Dark Souls 3. What a pain to get to 60 INT. Sorcerer is definitely hard mode in DS3. They really gimped mage. Mage is so OP in Elden Ring in comparison.
Wow what beautiful graphics compared to the first game I played back in '82 w/ my first computer: a Radioshack TRS-80. Need to program everything in a cassette.
Been playing Final Fantasy 7 Remake since it finally came to Steam. The graphics are super impressive; character models in particular look much better than the Advent Children movie, and even animate much better.
Yeah, advent children looked dated now in comparison. Advent Children looked amazing when it first came out. Animations was incredible for it's time. Remake does have very good character designs. I didn't like the gameplay of the remake, kinda bland.
I was absolutely obsessed with Advent Children even before it was released; it was pretty much the benchmark for CGI at the time. What's funny is they actually downgraded the CGI at one point during it's development because they felt it didn't look right when so realistic. This is the only screenshot I've ever been able to find with the better CGI.
This is much more in line with FF7R.
Did you play FF15 at all? To me, the combat in FF7R is a huge step up from that, so I can't really complain too much.
I was stunned by the animation of Advent Children. It was unlike any other CGI animation I've ever seen before. I was blown away by the style in the movements of the animation. Nothing like I've seen before. One of the best action choreography I've ever seen at the time. I wish they'd update the fidelity of the CGI. The choreography was amazing.
Kingdom Hearts had some amazing CGI shorts as well.
FF15 is even worse. Probably the worse FF game I've ever played.
