How do the pixels even have enough time to change at that speed?
And I used to complain about 4Mbps.
You can read the credits of a movie before it finishes downloading

Is that really an actual number? I didn't know that companies even output at that speed.

Try PCPitstop and see if you yield the same results.

Most likely that's either photoshopped or someone connected directly to the speedtest server in question via gigabit ethernet.

Speedtest.net has been gamed. For a lot of ISPs it reports thoroughly insane numbers. Some sort of transparent proxying is going on at the router level.

fwiw, I pay for 15mbps up and down, and i routinely get those actual rates downloading from well-connected sites.

The lucky thing in Korea is that you get a broadband connection just anywhere in the country for a not so expensive price. Rural place, city, outside, inside no matter where at least 5Mbps down.

or is that the same in the other countries?
