I would change the start orb, but my explorer.exe doesn't agree with me. I can't use the program from deviantart to change the start orb, and have to roll back my explorer.exe to pre-uxtheme patch and repatch, because explorer.exe crashed on me.
 
Still, I like it. Clean, vibrant, and testament to the abilities of content-aware fill.

Are you using x64? That might be the problem. If you don't like the start button, you could try a program called Start Killer to hide the button completely and just use the key to get to the start menu.
