How do you get this theme? I've seen it a few times before and I thought it was pretty cool but I don't know where to look.

 
That is the default GUI for Ubuntu after version 11 I think. It's called Unity.
I upgraded to Gnome 3, though, and I find it much much easier. It's prettier too.

Open the search bar on Unity and search for "Display". You can turn on/off monitors there, set resolutions and even set the rotation.

1920x1080 (both my PC monitor and my Plasma is that resolution, and I always have my PC duplicated, since I run to my room to watch my stuff, and go to the living room when messing about in the webz.)

I like my desktop clean and relatively simple. Shanoa as my current desktop, because she's my favorite Castlevania character. Sexy, strong, and feminine in all the right ways.
