Newer is not always better.
I went from a 2003 cartridge (multi-blade) Wilkinson Sword to a 1965 Gillette Adjustable DE razor, and now get a cleaner cut with less blood.

I find it odd that you'd prefer the olden blades to the newer tech blades. Where can I find these old glory blades anyhow?

Well, we might have different skin, technique or gear. Which make the end result totally opposite.
The razor (Gillette Adjustable) itself are 46 years old, but I use in-production blades (from Gillette as well).
