I just bought my first moto. It's a Yamaha FZR 600 and boy is it fast! If I kill myself, I'll have my next of kin auction off my headphones here on Head-Fi.

This pic was lifted from www.bikepics.com, but mine looks almost identical.

Okay, actually paid for it last week, but just got the box upstairs and plugged it in...a PS Audio Duet (plugging my amp and TV into it).

Ouch. That reminds me of one of THE worst mistakes I ever made in my gun collecting. Back in my USAF days, a couple of buddies wanted to take a weekend and go take our AR's to a DCM shoot. Outside of some minor paperwork, all we really had to do was show up and shoot. In the end, we were entitled to purchase an M1 Garand from govt....for $75. I figured the thing would be just a piece of crap and didn't go. A couple of months after not attending the shoot, we got together at the range like we always did on Saturday mornings and Joel unzipped his rifle case to reveal one heckuva specimen. That Garand was in absolutely fantastic condition and shot beautifully! I darn near cried all the way home as that was the last batch of those wonderful pieces of history. What the heck was I thinking???

Second biggest mistake was that same friend selling a Ruger Mini 14 with a factory folding stock for $250 to raise cash for a HK54(which he later had stolen, got back and sold for a Steyr Aug), and I passed hoping to score his CAR-14 instead. He kept the CAR and sold the Ruger to a buddy for $200. GAH!!! It kills me to this day.

Oh and to stay on topic, my latest purchase was a Slingbox Pro with Slinglink Turbo.

A Wawa hoagie, Chocolate Milk, Apples and peanut butter, and some beef jerky. About 12 dollars with a coupon.

Robben Ford - Talk To Your Daughter
Robben Ford - The Inside Story
Yellowjackets - The Spin (special edition)
Kinderen Voor Kinderen - #25# (for my kid)

My CDs are mostly replacements. The last one is a new one for my daughter. The Inside Story I actually have on vinyl (somewhere). €8 a piece. Not bad at all.

Sorry; whatMACHI, but your name reminds me of something I bought back in late 1968. A nice new shiny red 1969 Mustang Mach 1. Darned if that wasn't a dandy automobile!

Now THAT was a fun purchase!!
