A Border Collie Mix called Loki, well that is what he is called now, $25 from a shelter in West Virginia, a 588 mile round trip and worth every bit of it, seems to be house trained, very good natured and gets on well with our Flicka, priceless.

My Wife found the little chap on Petfinders.com, we had been looking for a companion for our dog, and this guy was suitable in terms of age and size and type and was in a kill shelter, after seeing his picture and profile my wife wanted to rescue him, personally I had some misgivings, but he is a sweet soul, and it looks like he will work out well.

Sounds good. I didn't know there were sites that give information on sheltered dogs. But then again, I've never looked for a pet before. =T

He is about 19 months old and as sweet as anything, he is a touch wild but there is nothing ill-tempered about him.
