my HDTV going dead may have forced my PS3 into the SD suckfest but i'll be damned if my 360 is going to be limited to standard def

Two pair of JVC Victor HP DX1000 headphones (one brand new in the box, the other with about 25 hours of use in mint condition) along with a project headphone amp (the one that has two outputs/phone hook-ups). Never owned good phones before (did own a pair of Grado's but they were the entry one). Not only are these JVC excellent (in my newbie opinion), but they allow me to better audition other components (such as CDPs better and also cables in my main system).

2 pair - cause that is how many they had available and I figured since the amp has two connection points and my portable headroom amp has two connections (with a single volume control so using different phones is not always agreeable) that it sort of made sense. However, neither my wife or son would "be seen dead in these in public", so will probably either store or sell the new pair.
