I took a motorcycle ride up by the Watkins Glen International Speedway today (I'm only about 15 miles from it). I wanted to see if they had any big signs advertising the Woodstock 50th Anniversary Festival up yet, but they don't. Michael Lang & company were there yesterday for a town hall meeting to discuss community concerns and such.
I have mixed feelings about it being at WGI, it's cool that it's here but I'd prefer it was at the original site. Not that I'll be attending, while it's cool that a few of the artists from the original have signed up to perform, I could care less about seeing about 75% of the scheduled performers.
