Bit of a newbie question here - I had this headset which was basically a headband with a single ear speaker and mic, which recently broke. It so happens that it makes a nice headset when I attached it to my DT990s, but I was wondering if I can damage them by having another headphone speaker so close to them? The headset's speaker is pressed up against the outside on the left cup.

Any possible cause of damage or am I being an idiot?

Doubt that there'll be any damage.

Microphones are too tiny, besides, they're outside the case, headphone manufacturers usually take into account, when building headphone the magnetic field around the drivers

and there are a lot of headphones out there with multiply drivers, inside the cup, near the other magnets
