hi... my speaker's woofer will auto mute when bass level is high enough...
opening up.. the woofer's amp... has this power relay... it seems that it's sensitive to vibration... i tried to knock lightly on it and it auto on off on off.... sorry... have null knowledge in electronic... a proper power relay should not react to vibration right? only short circuit or something right?

the spec sheet
MASSUSE ME-140FF

- 2 Form A and 2 Form C configurations
- 5KV dielectric strength from coil to contacts

It's plausible that it would react to vibration. A relay is just a switch that's controlled by a magnetic force. Activating the coils just changes the magnetic field to control the switch position. Being a mechanical system, it's plausible that a large enough force could disrupt the contact, but it shouldn't be happening if the speaker and electronics were designed properly. Have you tried replacing it? Relays are usually fairly cheap.
