So, I might be getting these for Christmas, and I currently have a magni 2 as my main amplifier that I use with my Sennheiser HD650. This isn't exactly summit fi material, and I know that it might be a stretch to try to drive the t1 with this amplifier. I don't even know how different amplifiers make headphones sound different, I've been told everything from you just need an amplifier that will match the headphone's power requirements, to people saying it actually changes the sound of the headphones depending on what sort of amplifier you get. So if it's the latter of what those people say, and schittz audio is lying to me about the magni 2 being able to power something like the sennheiser hd800, then perhaps I need a new amplifier, hypothetically speaking because I know that I or my parents may buy this eventually, and I plan on getting one. Is there an amplifierthat's under 700 dollars that will pair well with this thing?
