I was dead-set about to buy an RSA Intruder, when I realised it can only play 16bit 48,000kHz files...

Could anyone suggest a possible alternative to the Intruder?

Balanced, DAC/AMP, portable, good power, good sound... but can play 24bit 192kHz files.

Such a device? Thanks!

I don't know. I always have trouble learning anything about the RS amps and DACs because they don't provide any specs on their product pages. For example, how do you really know how much power you get out of it? I'm also very wary of audio manufacturers that don't provide any information like that. It's a bit too "trust us, it'll be good." LOL
