Portland Oregon Meet, Summer 2010

i don't have much to contribute, but i will have my alo rx amp, which is officially completely sold out and out of production.

also, it has not been confirmed that 32 ohm will be closed or empty on the 22nd, so there very well may be gear aplenty to be heard.

deviationer,
alo audio makes an awesome cable for jhaudio/westone customs, so if yours use the same prong input it's definitely worth a listen.  the cable will be available to audition at the meet.  i'm not sure what the pricing is for the companies you mentioned, but the alo cable is spendy, yet worth it.

and yes, i will be attending the after-meet.  i don't turn down good beer.

(my post had a typo, aren't super expensive, instead of are)

Thanks but those are way to pricy. Sorry but I'm not into spending insane amounts of money just on cables for any purpose.
I think the Null Audio Lune cable would be my max, but even then I'm not sure if it would be worth it. $117 for a cable or I could just try and build one myself for much less.

Do we have enough tables for gear? Just trying to plan right? Just used to knowing all that stuff before hand.

Hey Guys,

We might be ready enough to have the meet at the new store space, we are just doing some built ins now and I think they will be all done by the time of the meet. If this is the case we will have extra shelf space for rigs and a lot more room.

Either way there will be space for the meet at the old store if the new space is not ready. I will post a final decision soon, dates are set and done.

Thanks

ken

Please let us know so we can plan accordingly? I like a good breakfast! Coming from Seattle is a little bit of a trek.

Us Portlanders appreciate the sacrifice that all of you intrepid travelers are making to be at this meet.  We'll try to nail down a specific start time ASAP and post accordingly.  Stay tuned!!

Years back, I taught a class in Redmond and commuted, so I am familiar with and sympathetic to your trek!

Hey Guys

Since we are up rooting we will probably have most inventory packed up and many fixtures pushed off to one side at the old store. I plan to have to store technically open but just for people who stop by and know exactly what they would like to pick up, no speakers will be operating. Its been slow lately since we are in the middle of summer so I think there will not be many people coming by. So the meet will be at the old store 4530 SE Hawthorne Blvd I am open for times but was thinking 11 - 5 and am open to this suggestion though. If the majority of folks want to exit for dinner or drinks that all good also.

Thanks

Ken

Yeah Sachu, we are having breakfast in Portland. Where is that place with the Man Size Pancakes? I know you are picking the place. I have never been to Portland. We are passing Beths Cafe to have Breakfast with the Homies. Be happy to see you.
