I just bought the portaphile 627. I am wondering if anyone has A/B'd the 627 vs the 627x and is able to rank them or comment on differences?

I personally noticed the often mentioned weaker of bass in the 627's, which is why I am interested in people's thoughts on the punchier 627x. Apparently there are some who prefer one over the other, but I would like to get more insights into differences that could be expected. Loosely, I heard that

627x = punchier bass, flatter mids
627= lush mids

It seems like no one has really done this testing in detail so I ordered a 627x and I will a/b test and post thoughts here. It's not going to arrive for 2 week due to build time.
