I need to get a "jump drive" type USB memory card so I can do Writing homework on the laptops at work. Does anyone have any advice on what to get? I don't think I need huge amounts of storage, and I don't have USB 2.0. Any thoughts on the best bang-for-the-buck?

Thanks in advance.

My 128mb Kingston (1.1) works great. In 1.1 (its only mode) its faster than my friends 256 USB2 in 1.1 mode.

Its very reliable too. No loss atm...

I get 30G Fujitsu laptop drives for free at work. I buy those aluminum enclosure kits with the USB adapter for ~$20. I use that to back up my hard drive via USB 2.0. I think you can get a 6G laptop drive cheap now days.

I also have a 256M IBM memory key thats worked great for ~2 years.

Might also want to consider a Creative Muvo MP3 player. It doubles up as a USB flash drive as well as an MP3 player.
