p.s.: iLounge has a good review of speakers for the iPod.

Although it won't fit in a suitcase, it comes in a suitcase, I recently received this and it is one dynomite transportable speaker system.

the mm50 has a line in on the back which i use for my laptop sometimes. plus the recharagable battery is very nice.

i say a worthy buy. i snagged in a long while back at new egg for around 100. 75 at costco is a good deal.

Has anyone tried these yet?

They are high efficiency, no batteries, easily transportable and no trouble to run with an amped source. I haven't found a single audiophile review yet, but the concept seem sound...

I have the mm50s, and I've never regretted it. And I've had a lot of people comment on the size of the sound that comes out of something so small. Hard to beat considering the nice rechargable battery pack, line in and remote options. It's a great little set, and you got a helluva deal. I've never seen it for less than $100. I paid around $109, and felt it was worth every penny. Enjoy. Don't look back. Just listen to the music.
