Do you guys have any suggestions? The max I'm willing to spend is $500, though really I'd only like to spend $200-$250 unless there is really something fantastic about a portable speaker closer to $500. Preferably with bluetooth.

You should get a portable backup battery charger like this: http://www.amazon.com/Compact-10000mAh-Portable-External-Technology/dp/B009USAJCC/

Then battery life is much less of an issue.

Curious what you guys think of these two? And of course, if you know of any with better sound, then I'll li

I just have a JBL Charge. Works good for me. Biggest thing I found was in listening to a lot of ~$100 bluetooth speakers is to be sure to pick one with plenty of volume if you are going to use it outdoors. :)
