Has anyone ever thought about getting a Raspberry Pi with a tiny screen, setting it in an enclosure with a WiFi antennae, and using it as a MQS on-the-go streaming server(assuming the server uses a wireless hard drive to pull your media library and a power bank to power the raspberry pi)? It could be a relatively cheap solution and allow someone to hold numerous amounts of music(2 TB wireless hard drive quantities). I think it would be pretty awesome to be honest. I might actually try it.

I'd imagine that the biggest problem would be battery life even with the powerbanks around today.  Good luck if you do do it though.

Please take a look at some pictures of this thread, that Momax 8,800-mAh power bank was good for 8 hours when both router and Raspberry Pi were hooked up

The key should be something handy to organize everything on the road, something like this might work for you

Alternatively, you could check this out and skip Raspberry Pi altogether with MinimServer
