Nobody will be able to answer that but you. Everyone's taste for music, portability, comfort, and style are different. Buying an expensive pair of headphones to try isn't too big of a risk around here, if you decide you want to try something new and have kept the headphones (aside from custom IEMs) in good condition, you should be able to sell them for just a little less than the retail price as long as you found the best price for them before you bought.
