Hello Head-fi community,

Firstly I would like to say that I understand how annoying it is when someone join the community and the first thing s/he does is creating a new thread with the topic that has been discussed over 9000 times. I am sorry in advance, however I am a student+ and I want to spend nearly all money I've made during the part time job.

Budget:200 dollars (up to 250 if the difference will be significant)
Music style: Reggae, Rock, Drum and bass, dubstep, immediate music (everything except pop and hip-hop)
Special requirements: They will be used for binarual beats, which I love to use during meditation. That means the must have great low range (I prefer also good mids)

What I want:

+ As good sound quality as possible
+Balanced sound
+Portable
+Minimal sound leakage
+Well price matters for me. Cheaper headphones are preferred
+Comfortable
What I don't want
-earphones
-Overbassed or imbalanced sound (porta pro). That doesn't mean I don't want them to have basses! I just like the bass to be accurate, rather than strong for the cost of quality and accuracy
-Dr.Beats
-Skullcandy

Some examples

1) Crossfade M-80 -> unknown headphones with exceptional sound quality, amazing design, minimal sound leakage and nice discount on amazon. Right now my favorite

2)Audio technica ATH M-50-> So much has been said about them...no reason to add something else
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Audio-Technica- ... 9891&sr=8-

3) Sennheiser HD 25 Adidas- great brand, nice discount on amazong, I listened to them and loved them. I can get them for 200 dollars though

EDIT: They will be used with Sansa clip+. I hope that isn't a problem
English is my tertiary language, so sorry for any mistakes and thanks in advance!

I had kind of the same question and it seems people are really digging the Jvc s500 but since I saw you included the m50 in your list I just wanted to let you know it's on sale today on Amazon for like 104.
