Hey all,

Just wondering if anyone can recommend a few good portable headphone amp models that cost less than $100... I want to take full advantage of my v6/7506 so the crappy output from a sony cd walkman isnt adequate.

Some like to build their own, as RMSzero noted. If you like the idea, plans can be found (I think on Headwize). If not, I second JMT option. He's great to deal with.

search for a headfi user named jmt, and send him a private message. he's non profit but asks a very reasonable donation for parts and labor. he'll build you an amp suited for your headphones.

I love my JMT amp. If you can't build your own or just don't have time, JMT's amps are a very good solution.
