Yes, I stopped using audirvana for couple of days. I also replaced the cable all to no improvement. I guess a new drive is next.
Sorry. I know that sucks.
But I still wouldn't give up. I would bet that something is going on with the OS before I would blame the hard drive. And if it is the drive itself, there's probably a utility to test it and see if it's functioning correctly. Verify that first, or you will be more frustrated if you get a new one and the same things happens.
