Hey everybody i was wondering if there's a portable headphone amp for electrostatics besides the Stax SR001 MK2.  I'm not even sure if they for more than just the IEM Stax either.  Anyway is it really that hard to make a portable power supply for them? or just not profitable? thanks

Battery life is the biggest problem.  Really depends on what size you consider to be portable.

yes after doing more research i'm realizing how power hungry they are... Well battery tech is advancing all of the time! maybe i'll figure a way to power some full sized can on the go.
