Good evening,

I’m just getting back into portable players after a number of years away from the scene and just purely using an iPhone for music.

I’m looking to buy a high res music DAP but not sure if there are any that allow access to Qobuz or similar high res music sites. I don’t want to buy albums I’m looking to stream the same as I can on my iPhone.

Not looking to break the bank but welcome any suggestion of players that might be interesting to look at.

Hiby R5II. Great sound and value for money. Don't expect smartphone speed of operation.

I use that and a Sony WM1AM2 which at over £1K may be too expensive for what you want, and its bulkier than the Hiby.

Or, look to get a Khadas Tea DAC/AMP and use with iPhone if you don't need balanced connection.
A MagSafe iPhone with a Khadas Tea is a great partnership.

What ear/headphones you intend to use with?

Currently using a Fiio X3 amp with DreamEarz AUD 8-x CIEM standard 3.5mm connection and DUNU Titan S with 4.4mm balanced cable.
